Range
I was at a function yesterday where there was a raffle. Tickets were 5 for $20. I overheard somebody say, “You have a nice range of numbers.”
What the hell does that even mean?
If you have numbers 1, 42, 67, 89, and 112 or a “nice range” of 10-14, your chances of winning are exactly the same.
