One of the obvious ones is drafting Russell Westbrook when everybody, including myself, thought it was a huge reach.
But in my opinion, the best move that Sam Presti made was a series of moves. (Is that cheating?) Sam Presti turned Rashard Lewis into a $9M trade exception. The Suns then traded Kurt Thomas and TWO first round picks for that trade exception, essentially saving them from paying a $16M luxury tax bill. In 2008, the Thunder used one of those first rounders on one of my top 5 favorite players, Sergeballu LaMu Sayonga Loom Walahas Jonas Hugo Ibaka.
